For the week of July 28th, 2018, Louis Tomlinson has reached the fourth position on Billboard's Social 50 chart! He's spent 68 weeks total on the chart, and his peak position thus far has been third place. This week's position is four places up from July 8th's re-entry at number 8.
The news comes after Louis' first week as a judge on X Factor, the talent show that became popular after it formed his chart-topping band, One Direction, back in 2010. Catch up on Louis' first week of X Factor judging here, and keep an eye on LTHQOfficial.com's news section for daily updates.
One Direction actually shares the Social 50 chart with Louis this week down in 45th place, a small drop from last week's 30th place as the band celebrated its 8th anniversary. One Direction has spent more than 258 weeks - nearly 5 years - on the Social 50, peaking in first place.
Bandmate Harry Styles comes in at 8th place, just below Louis, and bandmate Niall Horan holds at 17th place this week.
According to Billboard, the Social 50 is "a ranking of the most active artists on the world's leading social networking sites." The chart is determined, according to Billboard, by "by a formula blending their weekly additions of friends/fans/followers along with artist page views and weekly song plays, as measured by Next Big Sound."
