As Louis Tomlinson prepares to release his next single, Kill My Mind, on September 5th, his branding is emphasizing the colors red and black. The use of red and black across his platforms is creating a bold, cohesive look for the release of Kill My Mind, with his single cover, social media, and even music video featuring these colors. A still from Louis’ music video features the bold red shown on the cover of the single and Louis was said to be wearing a black polo and black jeans during the shoot.
Louis’ video single announcement also featured Louis wearing red, black, and white.
A selfie posted August 14th, prior to the announcement of the single, featured Louis in a bright red hoodie, perhaps a hint of what was to come.
Even earlier, fans got a taste of the red and black scheme during Louis’ 1883 magazine shoot. Several of his outfits featured red and black including a Raf Simons shirt featuring red and black details on a white shirt, a black and red Wacko Maria Back Logo Printed Jacket with Acne Studios 2001 Slim Fit Black Denim Shirt, and a Raf Simons Carryover Black Denim Shirt with red turtleneck.
Louis has always seemed to prefer darker, bolder color choices and fans have often commented on how good he looks in red, but the unified red and black scheme of Kill My Mind seems to signal a new, bold, in your face sound and style is coming with Louis ready to take center stage with his next release.
