First up was professional entertainer, Sammi Shepherd, who sang Rag’n’Bone Man's Human. She wasn’t great, even though she sings for a living. They didn’t even show Louis’ reaction. Louis must have lost his appetite - he turned down a snack from Simon with a solid, “I’m okay, thank you.”

Louise Setara, a 30 year old cleaner, was trying to make a comeback after getting a record contract a decade ago. "I was signed but then I met someone and I gave up music, got married and had kids." She had a great voice. “Your storytelling in the lyrics is simple but beautiful.” She made it through. Louis said, “She was really, really nice.”
Louis did a few accents to entertain the judges as they walked to set.

J Sol, a 25 year old singer sang an emotional original song called Bullet In my Heart in memory of his late mom Victoria. J Sol said, "I suddenly lost my mum in 2015. I've always been terrified of doing this show, but I was going through texts and my mum was always telling me 'You need to do X Factor' and I always said no…but reading the text I thought, I want to finally tick off something she's wanted me to do."
The heartfelt performance brought Louis and Ayda to tears.
Louis gave J-Sol a hug, and said: ‘That was moving for me. I lost my mum as well, you did an amazing job.’ Louis said, “That is the power of music that you can write such a beautiful song that’s touched us all on this panel. It was absolutely brilliant. It was moving. You’re a legend for what you’ve just done.”
