This episode begins with Brendan as the last boy to sing for Louis Tomlinson and his guest judges, Liam Payne and Nile Rodgers. Brendan got the golden buzzer from Louis in the Six Chair Challenge, meaning he was automatically through to the Judge’s House.
Brendan sang Nothing Compares 2 U. Nile said he was holding back tears, trying to be cool and Louis just….
Louis, Liam, and Nile then discussed who should go forward to the live shows. Louis said he had an idea of who he thought he would put through, but that’s “all out the window now.” He said, “This to me is daunting. People’s lives are in our hands.”
The next day Louis breaks the news to his boys on who is through and who is not.
Louis told Dalton, “Yesterday, you really took your performance to another level.” Although Louis worried about his versatility since Dalton’s done so many ballads, he got through. Louis said, “Loads of love,” as Dalton walked off stunned.
Thomas, Armstrong, and Brendan are next. Armstrong gets through and Louis says, “Give me a cuddle! Give me a cuddle!”
Thomas doesn’t make it. Brendan does make it through and calls his mom after getting the news.
J-Sol and Anthony are last to get the news with only 1 seat left for live shows. J-Sol doesn’t make it. Louis comments after breaking the news, “That was so hard.” Anthony got better news as Louis said, “Of course I’m taking you.” Anthony jumps into Louis’ arms before falling to his knees and doing a bit of the “we’re not worthy”!
Anthony says he feels like Rocky Balboa. Louis said, “You’ve got me in tears again, man.”
Louis’ final four are Dalton, Brendan, Anthony, and Armstrong.
The episode finished with Ayda and her Overs with guest judges Adam Lambert and Leona Lewis. Ayda’s final Overs are Janice, Ola, Gio, and Danny.
